Eleoss had a vision for a hyperlocal task marketplace that would feel different from impersonal gig economy apps—focusing on community, trust, and genuine helpfulness rather than pure transaction. The technical challenges were substantial: building native-quality apps for both iOS and Android within budget, implementing real-time messaging and notifications, creating a robust matching algorithm that considers location, skills, ratings, and availability, handling secure payments with escrow functionality, and building separate interfaces for task posters (customers), task doers (suppliers), and administrators. The platform needed to scale from launch in a single town to potentially nationwide operation, while maintaining the community feel that differentiated it from competitors.

We delivered a comprehensive three-app ecosystem: a Customer App for posting tasks and finding help, a Supplier App for skilled locals to find work, and an Admin Dashboard for platform management. All mobile apps were built in Flutter, achieving native performance on both platforms from a single codebase—significantly reducing development time and cost. The Laravel backend handles complex business logic including intelligent task matching, dynamic pricing suggestions, and automated scheduling. Real-time features power instant messaging between users and live task status updates using WebSockets through Laravel Echo and Pusher. Firebase handles push notifications ensuring users never miss important updates. The payment system includes secure escrow (funds held until task completion), automated payouts to suppliers, and dispute resolution workflows. We implemented comprehensive trust and safety features: identity verification, background check integration, ratings and reviews, and community reporting tools. The admin dashboard provides complete platform oversight with user management, financial reporting, and content moderation tools.

Eleoss launched successfully and has been building a loyal community of users. Early metrics are promising: the app maintains a 4.7-star rating on both App Store and Google Play, user retention rates exceed industry benchmarks for marketplace apps, the supplier onboarding funnel converts at 65%, and average task completion rating is 4.8/5 indicating high service quality. The platform has facilitated thousands of tasks ranging from simple errands to skilled trade work. The real-time features have been praised in user reviews, with the messaging system cited as a key differentiator from competitors. The architecture has proven scalable, handling growth without performance degradation, and the single Flutter codebase has enabled rapid iteration based on user feedback.
