John Garry had an incredible story to tell—rising from humble beginnings to captain commercial aircraft for British Airways—but no digital presence to share it. As he transitioned into his career as an author and public speaker, he needed a website that would capture his personality, promote his books, and attract speaking engagement opportunities. The challenge was creating something that felt personal and authentic rather than corporate, while still being professional enough to appeal to event organisers and publishers. John isn't tech-savvy, so the site needed to be easy for him to share and for visitors to navigate, with minimal ongoing maintenance requirements.

As visitors scroll, they journey through his career highlights, book previews with purchase links, testimonials from readers and event attendees, and a compelling speaker section with video clips. The site includes an enquiry form for speaking engagements and newsletter signup for book updates. We optimised heavily for mobile, knowing many visitors would discover John through social media shares.

The Results
